Fishing is Everything

Welcome to Eyefull Sportfishing. If you are looking to fish Saginaw Bay’s world class walleye fishery, or Lake Michigan’s Salmon and Trout, you have come to the right place. I grew up fishing Saginaw Bay, and can’t remember far enough back to when I wasn’t fishing for them tasty walleye. Once my custom fishing rods took off hot a few years ago, I got into Salmon fishing out of Holland.

I now partner and fish Pro Tournaments in the 333 Tournament Trail on Lake Michigan with Captain Mark Rapson. Depending on the fishing season, I take the Bootyfull over to Holland to get in on some of the smoking hot late summer and fall salmon fishing. One thing is for sure, the Bootyfull will be sacking ports all summer long, wherever the best fishing is happening.

What you need to know...

  • Michigan Fishing License

You will need a valid Michigan Fishing License. These can be purchased online or at any Walmart or Meijers. Single day and three day licenses are available. Children under the age of 17 do not need a fishing license.

  • Camera or Video Camera

That's the only way you're going to be able to prove to your friends you caught a fish "THIS BIG" !

  • Refreshments

    • Food and Drinks
    • Cooler to take cleaned fish home
    • Cooler for your food and drinks (can be the same, that is up to you)

  • Clothing

    • Sunscreen
    • Sunglasses
    • Rubber sole shoes or sandals (please no black soles)
    • Long pants - Occasionally biting flys can become a nuisance
    • Rain Gear. We will fish in the rain, but will return to port if threatening weather approaches (Lightening, tornado, water spout, etc….)

  • Sea-sickness Medications

Don’t let sea sickness ruin a great day on the water. Alcohol, partying the night before, and sugary foods all work against you with sea sickness.

  • Adult Beverages

    • Drinking alcoholic beverages aboard the Bootyfull is allowed, but please drink responsibly. I will return to port if I feel that safety becomes an issue.

***Absolutely no illegal drugs aboard! We will return to port with the local authorities waiting at the dock if illegal drugs are seen aboard the Eyefull.

Meet our team

Tony Childs

I am a fully licensed Master Captain by the US Coast Guard. I have been fishing Saginaw Bay and the Great Lakes since 1980. I also fish Lake Michigan aboard several charter boats, and tournament fish the 333 Tournament Trail when I am not walleye fishing Saginaw Bay. I am married and have three children, which you may meet as they work on the Bootyfull as their time allows. Fishing is a family sport, so bring your whole family.

1st Mate Josh Childs

I am 21 years old and I have been fishing for my whole life. We don’t need to catch fish for me to have fun, I just enjoy being onboard, although that hasn’t happened much. I may not be as skilled as the captain, but I know my way around the boat pretty well. I look forward to the upcoming fishing season.

1st Mate Jacob Childs

I am 15 years old. I have been fishing for pretty much my whole life. I know what to do, but I am still learning. I will be fishing with you as time allows, and when there is room. I just want to catch fish and have fun doing it

1st Mate Capt. Mark Rapson

I am a fully licensed US Coast Guard Master Captain. I have been fishing the Great Lakes for over 20 years, starting at the age of 7 with my grandfather. Through his guidance and my family's support I was able to expand my fishing knowledge, especially with regards to Great Lakes salmon, trout and walleye. I fished my first tournament at the age of 18 on the Michigan Walleye Tour. Shortly thereafter, I began fishing salmon tournaments and haven't stopped since.
